Oh Butterfly

The gossamer wings of orange and black,
Carry the vision with flair.
Gently they move with an ease and a grace,
as they dance through the warm, summer air.

Softly the creature will land on a rose,
As his velvety wings fan the air.
He pauses a moment, then takes off again
With neither a worry nor care.

Nature has taught him the way he must be,
A loveliness flies through the air.
Then gently he lands on a flower or leaf
With a grace that is hard to compare.

Lovely vision taking flight,
On brightly coloured wing,
Delicate creature, making its,
Appearance every Spring.

Softly formed, with such finesse
So graceful, to behold,
Fragile creature,
Fluttering,in shades of blue or gold.

In metamorphesis you change
To one you say "good-bye",
Enhancing all who gaze on you
Breathtaking Butterfly.

Enchanting all who gaze on you,
In splendor,do we nod,
Oh! dainty creature
Butterfly,created by our God.
