When the sun shines through your window,or you walk in drizzled rain,
Or you cast your mind,to days gone by,and find you hurt with pain,
Don't fill your heart with sadness,don't count the hours to bed,
The only way you find escape,is happy in your head,
So Carol,when the day seems long,or nights seem longer still,
Think about the towpath walks or the locks that beat the hill,
Or ducks and drakes or swans on lakes or moles and beavers too,
